The cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of food to clients, visitors and staff. Prepares menu items using a variety of specific production techniques and standardized recipes. Assists in cleanup as required. This is a full-time position working days, evenings, fair share of weekends and holidays.
High school Diploma, GED and/or the proven ability to read and write
Previous cooking experience
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability and willingness to learn new skills

Ability to set priorities
Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 50lbs
Must have a valid driver’s license
Acceptable driving record
Acceptable under the State of Michigan’s Good Moral Statute
Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
